Rotor Counter-Balance Kit - User Manual

What's in the Box:

  • 1x VPC Rotor Counter-Balance Kit


Counter-Balance Kit installation


Tools required:

- Wrench 8 mm (NOT INCLUDED)

- Phillips screwdriver (NOT INCLUDED)

 

- H5 Hex key (NOT INCLUDED) 

- H4  Hex key (NOT INCLUDED) 

- H2.5 Hex key (NOT INCLUDED) 


Make sure collective lever is in the lower, initial position!

1. Remove the highlighted screw.

2. Remove 4 highlighted screws underneath the washer and detach the bracket.

 3. Remove 2 more highlighted screws.

4. Install the spacer.


5. Secure the counter-balance bracket with the same screws.

6. Install the cylinder with the anti-friction insert in the upper position and secure the bracket with the screws included in the kit.

7. Remove the highlighted screws and remove the front cover of the base.


8. Remove the two marked screws to remove the limiter.

9. Rotate the base until the end of the spring matches the hole in the bracket according to your installation option.

10. Secure the spring with a clamp using a bolt.

11. Return the base to its initial position, tighten the clutch, and install the limiter.


12. Adjust the load of the compensator using the screw (clockwise – decrease in effort; counterclockwise – increase in effort).

Adjustment of the counter balance must be carried out together with the clutch! 


After using the device, leave the lever in the upper position (this will prevent the spring from shrinking and increase the life of the device)!
