How to Attach VPC Grip

Attaching Your VPC Grip

IMPORTANT for the latest revision of the VPC Grips with twist axis!

Before attaching your grip, ensure that the locking screws are flush with the screw collar.

1. Visually inspect both the grip plug and base connector to ensure they are correctly orientated in relation to each other. These connectors can only be attached one way and can be damaged if incorrectly seated. Note that the grip connector is "loose" and can be rotated/extended from the bottom of the grip.

2. Connect the grip plug into the base connector ensuring that is fully and firmly seated. The grip plug can be pulled from the grip by ~3cm to allow easier attachment to the base connector. Do not extend the cable too far from the grip as it will be difficult to push the slack back inside the grip.

3. The screw collar can now be tightened onto the base. The angle of the grip in relation to the base can be set before fully tightening the screw collar to improve ergonomics (for example; in center mounted flightsticks). The screw collar must be tightened down fully to prevent it becoming loose during usage. Over enthusiastic twisting of the grip can result in the screw collar coming loose.

NOTE for the latest revision of the VPC Grips with twist axis

Do not use excessive force when tightening these screws.

4. Your VPC Flightstick can now be connected to your PC via USB!

IMPORTANT! Use VPC Software to configurate the device

Note: VPC WarBRD Base and VPC Constellation Delta Grip shown for example purposes. These instructions apply to all VPC bases and grips.

IMPORTANT!

When connecting a Thrustmaster grip, remove the 2 bolts holding the grip connector socket. This will allow the Thrustmaster grip to be rotated without damaging the VPC Base connector socket.
